The rapid economic growth in Asia region creates new opportunities for various business activities. Especially in telecommunication sector, Asia is the most exciting market in the world indicated by the development of enormous telecommunication projects. Its technology is shifting from narrowband to broadband <br /> <p align=\"justify\"> Deregulation in the framework of open market forces PT. INTI as the state owned enterprise in manufacturing of telecommunication equipment for restructuring its business strategy in order to achieve growth in the future. The present condition indicates some fundamental and strategic problems in the business. This thesis evaluates deregulation impacts, vision, operational efficiency, marketing, choosing portfolio of the future products and technologies. <br /> <p align=\"justify\"> The core competence in broadband telecommunication technology, and marketing enhancement are proposed to achieve product leader position, customer intimacy, and operational excellence. As a result, business strategy formulation is necessary to obtain the best alternatives for achieving the highest long-term company competitiveness. <br /> <p align=\"justify\"> The proposed business strategy involves two phases of implementation. Firstly, the consolidation phase for developing core competence and secondly the growth phase and value creation to face the constant changes in the future successfully. text |
