There are several types of wallets, for example, software wallet and hardware wallet. In wallet software, important information in the form of secret keys and the like is stored directly on the storage media used (for example on storage on an Android smartphone). But this is not safe because hackers can immediately retrieve important data if important information is placed in smartphone storage. For this reason, a hardware wallet is developed. Hardware wallet stores important information on cold storage, which is a separate storage area that is not connected to the internet directly. At present, there is no smartphone-based hardware wallet on the market. Therefore, the authors make a secure smartphone-based hardware wallet, especially Android. The author makes a simulator to simulate the workings of the hardware wallet that I made. This simulation is used to convince the target market, namely cryptocurrency developers that the tool can function according to the actual needs of the wallet hardware. The features found in this whole system are register, login, check balance, send, receive (generate), change PIN, check transfer history. Testing is done by following the testing procedures and trying whether all the functions mentioned above can work. The results obtained are all features or functions of the wallet can run properly. text |
