Henceforth, a method to produce flexible graphene/polyaniline in a facile way is needed. To make such electrode, this research synthesized graphene/polyaniline on a flexible substrate using electrodeposition method. The flexible substrate was made of polyethilene terephthalate which was coated with gold nanoparticle. The resulting material was characterized using Fourier-transform Infra-red Spectroscopy and Scanning Electron Microscopy. Meanwhile to measure its capacitance properties, such as areal capacitance, rate retention, and cyclic stability, Cyclic Voltammetry was used. Within this research, graphene/polyaniline was successfully deposited and showed better capacitance properties than pristine polyaniline, with the most optimum result was shown by the sample made with 10 deposition cycles. Additionally, the resulting film also shows excellent stability under normal and bent condition, and still retained its capacitance even afterwards. Hence, this research produced a succesful facile method of graphene/polyaniline deposition that shows good capacitance properties as well as promising to be used as flexible supercapacitor electrode. text |
