Summary:Jakarta Old Town is one of the frontline tourism in DKI Jakarta. It was used as Batavia’s city center during Dutch colonial time, that ranges from Sunda Kelapa in the north, to Glodok in the south. Governor’s Regulation of Kota Tua (Old Town) Masterplan No. 36/2014 pushed a lot of efforts to renovate and revitalize the area as Cultural Heritage Area, and encourage visitor number’s significant increase for the last five years. However, there are decreasing historical value caused by normalization and deteriorating development of some tourism destination area. This research was conducted to see the conditions of Jakarta Old Town’s tourism component, the area’s tourism attraction development, and to identify visitor’s characteristics and perception of the area. From this research, it is found that tourism component’s condition is already very good in terms of attractions and accessibility. Meanwhile, the amenity’s conditions is still in need of improvement. Some tourism destinations improved in terms of visitor’s number, but there are some that are worsen. The visitors valued some of the attractions interesting and most of the conditions are good enough, except for the area’s hygiene.
