| Summary: | This research was made through tidal bore “bono” phenomenon in the Kampar Pelalawan river area, Riau. Bono is a natural phenomenon that came before the high tides. The method of this research is experimental. The researcher made geographically simplification of Kampar river’s area by making an aquarium to make waves. Aquarium was made with flexible surface. The researcher compared the width of the surface of aquarium and the real situation. The result showed the width of the aquarium, which is in smaller size, made a greater amplitude. It is because the researcher made the width of the aquarium smaller and the water volume stayed as what it was. What the researcher did would make level of water in smaller surface higher.
