Summary:<b>Abstract:<p align="justify"> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> Interpretation of magnetotelluric (MT) data can he done by inversion technique using iterative least square method <br /> <br /> During inversion, ill posed or instability problem in which small changes in the data causes huge differences in solution, often occured To overcome this problem, Marquardt-Levenberg and Singular Value Truncation methods are used. <br /> <br /> In this paper, Singular Value Decomposition method is applied to solve Jacobian matrix, for the expected parameters. Robust estimation method is also used as alternative for solving the above inversion problem
