Indonesia is a developing country that continues to move forward. This economic improvement always increases with the turn of the years. The growth will be mainly driven by developing province’s economy. The quality of good infrastructure is the main foundation in the construction of supporting wheels besides the quality of infrastructure in accordance with the design of the province competent and competitive human resources to develop the need for human resources as the main motor driving development through competent in the field of construction, through its own construction is an important activity or element in infrastructure development to produce perfect results and quality. The construction sector has an important role in the economy of the country and is an important contributor to the process of infrastructure development which provides a physical foundation on which sustainable development and improvement in living standards can be realized.There are so many construction companies nowadays, one of them is PT. XYZ, a well-known national company in Bandung that offering integrated services of construction. The company that studied for this research is PT XYZ that offering integrated services of Information Technology & Mechanical Electrical, and Civil construction especially in West Java. This company also has done so many projects since 2004. The objective of this research is to identify the problems faced by PT XYZ on 2015 in doing project construction 5 story building.The ultimate goal is to fix what they have already done in the past to develop become a better service company for the next project ahead. The method that used in this thesis are based on PMBOK and FMEA method to analyze the problems also finding solution for this company. The results of FMEA analysis show that PT XYZ has a potential failure that can be decrease with some solutions. PT XYZ must apply the awareness of safety before doing projects. And also, this company should already have prepared the cover such tarps to protect their materials and also the casting so they won’t be soaked by water. Besides, the company should strengthen their agreement first before doing contract. For a better performance, they should train the worker or recruit some worker that has already well-trained to prevent careless progress the conduct on the field. And the last is this company should update their KPI for a better future. Implementation of the strategy is carried out within a period of up to several months. With the implementation of this strategy, it is expected that PT XYZ can serve better quality progress and also be able to compete with competitors.
