KERINCI Danandjojo, Imbang Transportasi ; transportasi darat Indonesia Theses Passenger fluctiation, Goodness of fit curve INSTITUT TEKNOLOGI BANDUNG https://digilib.itb.ac.id/gdl/view/4587 Abstract :
The presence of passenger fluctuation between paths and trips that is passed by one period, and the target for operation of the fleet, has becoming a problem for each operator to decide the suitable composition of the capacity that can serve its demand so that target for it can be reach. The point of this research is to find the composition for each class capacity which is suitable for the criteria of maximal number of passengers which could be transport (first criteria), minimal number of non-economy class passenger which couldn\'t be transport (second criteria), minimal number of unsold seat for the non-economy class (third criteria), minimal total of number of non-economy passenger which couldn\'t be transport and number of unsold seat (fourth criteria), and the maximal profit made by the operation (fifth criteria), according to present total capacity and number of passenger for each Harbour passed-by, the provisioning cost and the ticket prize for each seat-mile for each class.

On the way to solve this problem, mathematics model has been made to count the composition of the capacity for all criteria, based on the basic concept of the goodness of fit curve and trial and error\'s method, by using a computer programme to process it.

Considering the first criteria, the result for composition of the capacity for first, second, third, fourth, and economy class are 14, 8, 12, 27 unit\'s cabin, and 1.248 seats. Considering the second criteria, the result for composition of the capacity for first, second, third, fourth, and economy class are 39, 45, 39, 60 unit\'s cabin, and 624 seats. Considering the third criteria, the result for composition of the capacity for first. second, third, fourth, and economy class are 1, 2, 2, 15 unit\'s cabin, and 1.454 seats. Considering the fourth criteria, the result for composition of the capacity for first, second, third, fourth, and economy class are 9, 8, 17, 37 unit\'s cabin, and 1.148 seats. Considering the fifth criteria, the result for composition of the capacity for first, second, third, fourth, and economy class are 14, 10, 16, 31 unit\'s cabin, and 1.284 seats. The changes of passenger number from one harbour to another may cause the composition of the capacity for each class and the optimum value for each criterion. The changes of the fixed cost or the variable cost not given any effect to the composition of the capacity for all criteria, but it\'s can be influence the profit of operation. text |
