One of the speciality is the polymer molecular weight, which properties as polymer such as solubility and viscosity influenced by that.<p align=\"justify\"> <br /> Several methods to measure polymer molecular weight has been developed, like osmometry, light scattering, cryoscopy, ebulliometry and tonometry methods.<p align=\"justify\"> <br /> To measure polymer molecular weight, the tonometry method has used in this research. The principal of this methods is measure polymer molecular weight due to the resistivity changes. According this method, a tool for measure polymer molecular weight has projected and builds.<p align=\"justify\"> <br /> To measure polymer molecular weight, polymer liquid sample placed on measure room with constant temperature. This sample is series connected with a resistor, voltage source applied and then the potential different was measured on many different concentration.<p align=\"justify\"> <br /> For each polymer concentration, resistivity number measured and this number show on a curve and extrapolated for number of polymer concentration equals zero [C]o.<p align=\"justify\"> <br /> The measurement of potential different, temperature control and data accusition helped by computer trough ADC-DAC interface 12 bit with 16 input and 1 output. The software to be used for data accusition is Borland delphi language. text |
