Summary:Nowadays, we cannot separated from communication. Technology makes it easy for us to communicate long distance and close distance. But there are still many remote areas that are difficult to communicate, because there are still many areas that have not been electrified. In addition, another factor is that the operator of communication chooses a place that is advantageous for them. They have a cost consideration with the benefit. Therefore the idea emerged to facilitate both short and long distance communication in remote areas using Voice Over Internet Protocol (VoIP) combined with a mesh network. The mesh network functions is to establish networks between routers independently. This research tries to create a VoIP server and SIP client on a router, so we only need a router as a means of communication.
