Description
Summary:Every year the level of population in the city of Bandung is increasing, because as the largest tourist destination city in West Java, Bandung has a big problem, which is traffic jams. At the railroad crossing in the Sumur District, on Jalan Merdeka, Jalan Sumatera and Jalan Sunda causes the volume of vehicles on the road there is a long queue and long the travel time. In this research to analyze of volume, queue length, and travel time of each vehicle that occurs due to congestion. This research also conducted to evaluate, compare and determine the results of feasible or not feasible program conditions from the results of field data on each road section affected by railroad crossings with microsimulation Vissim program. Before use the microsimulation PTV Vissim 11 program must be obtained the direct form observation surveys in the field for a full day, as volume, queue and travel time of each vehicle on these roads, then calibrated and validated data to obtain the results and can be compared whether the program is feasible or not feasible with the railroad crossing conditions of the railway. For calibration data, driving behaviors parameters are used for experiment to get the results of analysis and visuals in the microsimulation Vissim program. As for the validation data, the GEH statistic method used for comparison from the field and the microsimulation model values. The results obtained from this research used three times experiment in calibration of driving behaviors, the first is default from the Vissim data, the second is from previous research, the third is from survey directly in the field. The conclusions from validation are the third experiments which the analysis and visual is suitable with the directly condition in the field.
