A heat pump is a machine for transfer heat from air to water. This machine uses bulk electrical energy to operate, and tend too inefficient if it was operated manually. Other difficulties are hard to reach optimum operation and daily data logging. Therefore, an automatic control device based on digital computer is required to cope with the difficulties. <br />
<br />
In this thesis, research has done to design a control device based upon PC. The control devices consist of electronic data acquisition, actuator, interface circuit, and computer program. <br />
<br />
Mathematical modeling is used to design control system. The result is a proportional control model. Furthermore, the model was tested to see the stability. Also based on the mathematical models the control device is assembled and implemented. <br />
<br />
Computer based control device has another advantage, that is easy to change the control algorithm or control mode by altering the computer control program. |
