<b>Abstract :</b><p align="justify">Economic growth and developement in many sectors affects the increasing of the number of construction and consulting projects in Indonesia. This is a trigger of increasing international and national consulting services especially geotechnical service firms as PT. SOILENS which causes high competition in this business.. <br /> <p align="justify">Competition in consulting business based on 3 (three) performance criteria i.e. Coat, Quality and Delivery (CQD). Consulting firms may have competitive advantage if they maintain the service quality consistently. It can be achieved by implemented ISO 9000 companies. <br /> <p align="justify">ISO 9000 is a quality management system which standardize many quality managen}e}It bystems used in many sectors ail *ies. It can be implemented by product or service companies. Registering Body provides certification for implemented ISO 9000 companies. <br /> <p align="justify">In this thesis, we intend to analize the readiness of implementing ISO 9000 at PT. SOILENS, therefore PT SOILENS may prepare planning steps in order to obtain ISO 9000 certificate. <br /> <p align="justify">We sure PT. SOILENS will success in this implementation due to the quality commitment of the top manager and quality manual which has been implemented now.
