In this expperimen a study was carried out on the effect of different Pb compounds and their molar variations in the formation of (B,P)SCCO-2223 superconductor by means of two powder synthesis processes. The Pb compounds examined in this experimen were PbO and Ca2PbO4, and the Pb concentrations initial mixtures for the precursor 2212 were 0.0, 0.2 and 0.4 in molar ratio. The addition of cation Ca and Cu in the second stages was always preceeded by the synthesis of Ca2CuO3 compound separately. Characterizing of the specimen were verified by the Meissner Effect, as well as measurement of Tc, XRD, SEM and EDAX. In the precursor formation processes, samples doped with Pb generally attained 2212 phase volume fraction higher than sample without Pb doping. It was also found that samples doped with PbO had volume fraction higher than samples doped with Ca2PbO4 compounds. But the crystal structure of 2212 phase obtained with PbO doping appeared to be less than satisfactory, and the further formation processes of 2223 phase were consequently less effective. In contrast, sample without Pb dopants exhibit similar crystal structure with those of samples doped with Ca2PbO4, which are generally better than the crystal structure of those doped with PbO. The formation of 2223 phase from 2212 phase doped with Ca2PbO4 compounds at 0.4 molar ratio shows generally superior quality than 2223 sample obtained from the same initial doping concentration with PbO. The SEM photograph of 2223 sample obtained with PbO doping at the second stage clearly shows the presence of adequate grain texture of the 2212 and 2223 phase respectively.<p align="justify"> <br />
