Description
Summary:Supadio Pontianak International Airport is located in Kubu Raya, West Kalimantan, which is an airport that serves domestic and international flights as the airport of West Kalimantan Province. Supadio Airport is projected to not be able to accommodate passenger capacity in the terminal because the passenger growth rate is increasing every year. This resulted in the need for a new terminal design design with the ultimate reference to the Airport Master Plan which has a land area of seven hectares with a capacity of eight million passengers. Not only refers to the Airport Master Plan, as for the vision and mission of its initiator PT. Angkasa Pura II to be able to compete providing maximum service in flights. Broadly speaking, Supadio Airport is a business-based airport where movements are filled by passengers who majority have trade interests on their destinations. Passenger movements support the existence of a transit room, where passengers comfortably have access to basic facilities. The airport, which is designed with two floors, uses a wide span structure with branching structure with different roof levels that create a calm atmosphere. The capacity allocated is eight million passengers per year. The needs that are seeded in the design are in the form of a concession context which becomes a public zone with the introduction of thematic concessions selling local products. In addition there are public facilities such as the co-working Transit.
