The waste from the garment industry in Cigondewah, which is mostly poliester fabrics, is usually collected in warehouses to be resold at a low price, discarded, or burned. On the other hand, polyester is a material that takes a long time to naturally degrade. This study aims to determine the potential of polyester garment waste to extend material life by being used as raw material for products. The study was conducted with a comparative study to find data and material exploration to find out the material characteristics and product potential.
