This Sundanese literacy library was built as an initiative of the Bandung city government through the Bandung City Library and Archives Service in collaboration with the Sundanese and Rancage Study Center Foundations to build a public library that houses Sundanese literacy collections in the center of Bandung. The construction of this library aims to increase the interest in reading in the city of Bandung and increase insight into Sundanese culture which is the root of the culture of the city of Bandung. In fulfilling its objectives, this library must be able to attract interest in reading in terms of design and function. In terms of design, this library raises the theme of Sundanese culture in terms of facades and symbolic buildings. This library also not only functions as an education, but there are recreational and commercial sides. In the Sundanese literacy library it provides an educational function, namely Sundanese and non-Sundanese collections, with the classification of children's collections, public collections, special collections, and reference collections. In terms of recreation, the library provides a temporary spot of interaction in terms of commercial, the library provides a cafeteria and bookstore. So hopefully the library with functions other than education can increase the interest of the community to come to the library. This library project is located on Aceh road with an area of ± 4,234 m2.
