Summary:Data from the West Java Provincial Health Office states that the city of Bandung is one of the cities with a high number of dengue fever incidences. In recent years, the number of DHF incidences in the city of Bandung has increased quite significantly. DHF incidences in the city of Bandung come from various age groups, genders, and residences. The distribution of DHF incidences is investigated in this final project. The first objective to be achieved is to find out the age group of the population which is most vulnerable to the dengue virus and examine whether there are differences in susceptibility to dengue virus between men and women. The second goal is to find out the districts in Bandung that are the source of infection using the Granger Causality test. What is meant by the source of infection is the district where the incidence of DHF occurred earlier. In the Granger test, districts in the city of Bandung are divided into two parts, namely the center and surrounding areas. The central sub-district was chosen from the sub-district with the highest number of DHF incidences (per 100,000 population) and the surrounding sub-districts were other sub-districts outside the center. From the results of grouping patient data, it is known that the chances of dengue virus infection in the city of Bandung from high to low have the following sequence: children, teenagers, adults, and retirees. The chances of dengue virus infection between men and women are almost the same. The Granger Causality test shows that surrounding areas granger cause the central sub-district, so it can be said that the incidence of DHF in the surrounding sub-district occurred earlier than the incidence of DHF in the central sub-district.
