Summary: | PT Rifansi Dwi Putra is a company that specializes in the field of engineering, procurement and construction in the oil and gas industry. In the field of engineering, procurement and construction, management as one of stakeholders that plays a highly important role in creating an organization or company which is competitive and sustainable, where management is illustrated as a sequence of mechanism that can coordinate a diversity of sources to earn the objectives of the organization or company that has been established. Increasingly the development of the oil and gas industry, especially in Indonesia, which is characterized by increasingly intense competition in the fields of engineering, procurement and construction requires PT Rifansi Dwi Putra can compete with new entrants and current contractors. Hence, we need a system that can help PT Rifansi Dwi Putra in improving and maintaining its performance in order to keep on compete and grow.
By implementing the company's performance management, PT Rifansi Dwi Putra is expected to be able to overcome the existing problems. In finding the root of the problem, researcher used the Current Reality Tree (CRT) method by interviewing several respondents as management representatives of PT Rifansi Dwi Putra. After that, researcher proposes the Integrated Performance Management System (IPMS) framework as a business solution because this framework can overcome problems in the company and it can be a benchmark for analyzing current company performance with previous performance. There are 5 stages in the IPMS framework, namely foundation, basic information, designing, implementation and evaluation process. To get the foundation by understanding the four guiding principles and five rules in designing a performance management system. After researcher getting the foundation continued by gathering background and basic information by using external analysis (PESTEL analysis and Porter's Five Forces). The next step is the process of designing an IPMS that begins by evaluating the company's vision using the vision generator, then evaluating the company's mission using the checklist criteria, and establishing the company's strategy using the VRIO framework. After establishing the company's strategy, proceed with setting the variables, aspects and indicators of performance assessment and the interrelationships between variables based on group discussion. After that, proceed with the benchmarking process as part of seeing the other side beyond the usual perspective applied on performance assessment. In the final stage, the implementation and evaluation of the Integrated Performance Management System (IPMS) itself is carried out.
The results of the implementation and evaluation come out in the form of a display and it is expected that the Integrated Performance Management System (IPMS) that will be proposed should encourage PT Rifansi Dwi Putra to look ahead and it could be a defiance to enchance performance measurement also effectively. |
