Hence, expanding their access to the fairer economic system at the same time. THP wants to expand its concept to a wider Bandung society. Teras Hijau Project is a social enterprise that aims to realize a sustainable city through its permaculture concept. Permaculture is a concept of farming that utilizes the benefits of planting the different kinds of plants which symbiotic with each other in order to reduce the pest and disease attack and increase the sustainability of production. The pilot project is located in RW 7, Kelurahan Sukaraja, Cicendo district, Bandung. The pilot project gained quite a lot of attention from the local media and local government. Thus, the demand to implement the permaculture concept in Bandung align with THP’s mission to expand their concept to wider Bandung society. This study is intended to explore how the community's acceptance of the concept of THP community garden project so that it can be used as a reference to develop the same concept in other communities in Bandung. The social cognitive learning theory complement by social capital theory are the main concept used in this study. Observation conducted in order to know the situation and understand the business issue in the targeted community. Based on the analysis, some issues that common in the urban farming implementation had started to surface in their location. The one issue that very concerning for Teras Hijau Project, especially regarding the engagement issue. Because of that, the evaluation of the concept needs to be conducted. Before creating the proposed recommendations, the data need to be collected. The data collection process conducted by interviews. Based on that data collection, the community social learning process model can be described. The social capital influences also analyzed in order to know how it affected the targeted community social learning process, attitude and behavior towards the permaculture concept. After the description of the community social learning process, the impact of the permaculture concept to the targeted community is evaluated using the three pillars of social innovation theory. The result of this study is the proposed recommendation of THP’s permaculture concept evaluation. It is the insight of targeted community learning preferences and engagement solution through plant production methods combination. The plant production methods combination manifested through the planting calendar. In the implementation plan, the explanation of the planting calendar implementation is needed to give an understanding of how the recommendation can be adapted. text
