Description
Summary:Based on Peraturan Pemerintah Jawa Barat Number 12 Year 2014 developed a metropolitan area called the Metropolitan Cirebon Raya. The metropolitan phenomenon that occurs in the Metropolitan Cirebon Raya provides opportunities as well as its own challenges, especially in meeting the needs of clean water. Drinking water demand will keep on increasing in line with the population growth, thus requiring goverment to respond by making available sufficient capacity of water treatment plant and produce water quality that meets the existing standard despite the extremity of the raw water quality. The rate of water loss in the service area causes the service coverage to be suboptimal, thus affecting the fulfillment of the objectivity of the SPAM service function, quality, quantity, continuity, and competitive water prices. Responding to this, the Government of West Java Province (2017) appoints PT. Tirta Gemah Ripah as West Java Regional PDAM in implementing Regional Water Supply Systems. The development of the drinking water system in Metropolitan Cirebon Raya will be divided into 2 stages of the project with a duration of ten years for each stage. In the Phase I, it is planned to have a service level of 26%, with a production capacity of 1,500 L / s. The drinking Water Supply System development must be met as a whole starting from the source to the service to guarantee the objectivity of SPAM, so that Jatigede Dam is chosen as the source of raw water and the location of the construction in Parakan Kondang District. Based on the analysis results obtained in quality, quantity, and continuity of Jatigede Dam is more reliable than the development plan by PT Tirta Gemah Ripah with drinking water and irrigation allocations of 22,61 m3 / s and 17,01 m3 / s By analyzing the parameters that need to be processed against SNI 7508: 2011 and JICA (1990) prediction model, the conventional water treatment process that is selected that includes coagulation, flocculation, sedimentation, filtration, and disinfection. In addition, water treatment is also equipped with a pre-sedimentation unit in response to the quality of raw water at the time of wet plan discharge (turbidity is increasing).
