Description
Summary:Construction of a building can changes the condition of land in an area. Changes in land conditions can reduce the coefficient of land roughness and increase flowrate in the area after development. Therefore it is necessary to design a drainage system that can accommodate the flow and / or a system that can maintain the flow rate in the area as before the construction. The design of the drainage system of the Sriwijaya Great Mosque Jakabaring Palembang covers an open drainage channel system with a rectangular shape and a detention reservoir at the end of the drainage system. Planning begins with processing hydrological data, designing channel tracts, and designing channel dimensions. The water flow in the channel flows into the detention reservoir before being finally discharged into the drainage channel of the road outside the area using spillway and pipes.
