In this final project, the scheduling of drivers for the travel agency in Bandung is constructed. Each driver is assigned to take on trip from Bandung to another town in a specific departure time. The scheduling is considered as an optimization problem to minimize an amount of money that has to be paid by agency to the drivers with respect to some constraints. The constraints are derived from the rules of agency such as shift coverage requirements, driver preferences, and seniority-based workload rules. To solve this model, the numerical computation technique using MATLAB software is applied. Our simulation results show optimal monthly schedules for each driver.
