The direct measurement of lightning current strike was to be done by recording methode of the current that passed through transmission of lightning current conductor. The lightning current waveform that passed through this conductor was influence by some parameters of the conductor, especially if this conductor long enough, like as though on the heigh structure. <br />
<p align=\"justify\"> To aatemp the measurement of lightning current, the measurement facility is provided consist of lightning conductor in the form of 100 m triax cable with completeness of curent transformer pulse as the sensor and universal digital oscilloscope as the recording, at ITB lightning measurement station (2) Tangkuban Perahu mountain. The influence of triax cable to the lightning current waveform, under research by injection the current waveform was leaked. The recorded data and analysis shows that the waveform recorded was influence by triax cable parameters. Where as the indication of wave reflection forced the amplitude increasing at front of wave at specific time. The influence of this reflection is not to big, so it can be neglected. |
