Summary:The high rate of urbanization is now directly proportional to the need for shelter or home that cause of some areas with dense settlements in certain regions in urban city. With the emergence of dense settlements the risk of fire disaster is also lurking, which is aggravated by generally narrow access roads and the traffic conditions that makes it difficult for the fire department to fulfill the response times. This study have a purpose to aim to designing an ideal fire extinguisher for densely populated residential areas that can be use by the society who lived on those areas. In that way they can do the extinction activities before firefighters arrive at the location to minimize the burning area. Methodology of data collection doing by collecting data through literature studies, field surveys based on literature studies, and interviews with related people. The results of the data are then processed and knowing the need of an extinguisher that capable of reaching large areas with a short preparation time, then this will be a reference for the design concept. From the design concept then entered the designing stage and the last stage was entered of digital modeling and manual modeling based on a chosen concept.
