Summary: | Tender is the process of bidding for a price, buying a job, or providing goods. The tender
process is a long and complex business process to produce a series of legal obligations
related to business contracts. The purpose of conducting a tender to the government is to
support the work program by finding tenders (providers of goods and services) that are
appropriate in the government procurement program. At the government in Indonesia, the
tender process has been carried out using an e-tendering system (electronic tendering) with
the use of internet technology. The purpose of e-tendering is to facilitate the procurement
process with related parties to increase productivity, effectiveness, and transparency in the
tender process. However, problems in the e-tendering system are still centralized or
centralized, so that local organizations have full control of the database and the system that
can pose a threat of vulnerability to fraud, collusion practices, and manipulation.
The tender selection process that is full of competition must be supported by effective and
transparent technology so that it does not cause fraud and suspicion among bidders.
Blockchain technology is one of the solutions that enable integrated systems without a third
party because it adheres to the decentralized nature of distributed databases so that copies of
them are owned by many users so that each system user can take transparent and distributed
control measures. This thesis discusses the application of e-tendering using a blockchain
which is implemented in the form of a prototype. The prototype that was built was then
evaluated and tested for its functionality and performance. This research can prove that the
blockchain technology in e-tendering has advantages that can support the implementation of
the tender process. |
