With the rapid development of information and communication technology, various facilities have been offered by banks, such as Automated Teller Machine (ATM), internet banking, mobile banking, sms banking, etc. Banking technology that recently emerged is digital banking. Digital platform in digital banking is no longer only on the form of the services, but also on the form of the bank itself. Digital bank offers branchless services, accessible via a single website or application. This form of service is known as the omni channel service. In 2018, only two banks in Indonesia that have already fully implemented digital banking system. Those two banks were Jenius by Bank BTPN and Digibank by PT Bank DBS Indonesia.The penetration of digital bank in 2017 is considered low. Only 5% of banked Indonesian citizen was using digital bank services. One of the things that may hamper the growth of digital bank users in Indonesia is the acceptance of the new technology in the society. There are many studies that develop models for the acceptance of technologies. Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) is one of the most widely used and developed model in the acceptance of technologies. Task-technology fit (TTF) is one of the things considered in developing TAM. Other variables considered to complete the model are technology anxiety, resistance to change, trust, and personal values. The results obtained from this study showed that factors that directly affect the acceptance of digital banking technology in Indonesia were perceived usefulness, attitude toward use, resistance to change, and trust. Factors that indirectly affect the acceptance were task characteristics, technology characteristics, tool experience, task-technology fit, perceived ease of use, technology anxiety, and time consciouseness. text |
