| Summary: | Tourism is one of the fastest growing economic sectors in the world and can be one of the most powerful tools for national economic growth. Has been carried out on two companies engaged in tourism with different ownership. Resort World Sentosa, which manages the Sentosa island region in Singapore, is one of the largest companies in the Tourism industry in Southeast Asia. Ancol, a tourist area managed by a government-owned company, Pembangunan Jaya Ancol is still a major area in Indonesian tourism. Comparisons are made between the two companies. Writing is done by taking data from the company's Annual Report and interviews directly to employees of each company as business people and visitors to the area as customers. The data obtained will be compared through several parameters and analyzed further through Profit and Expense Analysis. From the research conducted, it was found weaknesses and strengths of each company entity in terms of interests, contributions to the government, and of course the company's own finances. |
