Summary: | In this report, the design of Children’s Museum at Sentul City, Bogor is written. The main function of this project is to educate esepecially children and family. This museum located in Sentul City, to be excact in Karangtengan Valley. The area of the site project is 19.022 m2. On the north side of the site is the main road, while in east road to a housing was designed to be exist. On the west site there will be a green area and on the south side there is a river. The initiator of this project is assumed to be PT. Sentul City. PT. Sentul City is a company which vision and mission is to make a cultural, green and developed city. The main user of this museum is targeted for children under the age of 13 and family, espescially children around 6-13 years old. The site condition is pretty steep with the higher side in the north and the lowest side on the south, and has a pretty high rainfall. From all above, author decided to pick playful space for children and bulinding that adapt the contour and river as the issues. From here author developed the ide and made a museum that stimulus children’s happiness while educated at the museum as the target, and also building that adapt tot the contour and use river as a visual element. From here author make one concept, “Adventurous Space for Children”. From here author made the building to have a form that represent a traditional game and oriented its view to the river, and has a radial form. The museum also designed to be in harmony with the site and around. |
