In terms of safety performance, Badak LNG is widely known for its Safe Operation Performance. Nine years after the journey to shift its safety culture, in 2019, many employees reach their retirement and more new employees have come. Some question arises: ? Has the safety culture been internalized among employees? ? Do the new generations inherit the good safety culture? ? What improvement should be done to preserve the good safety culture? This study explore how Badak LNG do the safety culture shifting process only in 3 years, what is the current employee demography, what is the problem following it and what is the wakeup alarm as a preliminary signal to do further evaluation on Badak LNG’s current safety culture. This study combines quantitative and qualitative methods in collecting and analayzing data. Quantitative approach is by conducting safety culture survey, external- internal factors evaluation and quantitative strategic planning evaluation while qualitative approach is by conducting interview and focus group discussion. The end result is proposed strategies which has been sorted according to their priority. The proposed strategies are detailed into some proposed activities which require company resources back up to implement. Some adjustmement involving company business risk register and severity matrix are performed to fit the budget required with the current company condition. It also considers the employee involvement in the proposed activities. text |
