INSTITUT TEKNOLOGI BANDUNG https://digilib.itb.ac.id/gdl/view/46822 Information technology is an inseparable aspect of human life. The development of information technology has also penetrated the world of finance and banking and influenced the way humans conduct financial transaction activities. Paylater service is one type of information technology utilization in financial and banking activities. Paylater service allows users to apply for financial loans using only a smartphone. Paylater services began to be known for being offered by many popular startups in Indonesia. Some users are still reluctant to use paylater services due to several factors, such as conformity to lifestyle, security, loan interest rates, and other factors. This study aims to determine the factors that might influence the acceptance of paylater service technology. The research respondents are 223 paylater service users in Special Capital Region of Jakarta who have used the service at least six times during the last three months. The factors examined in this study are privacy, trust, security, complexity, cost, risk, relative advantage, compatibility, observability, and intention to use. Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) was chosen as a statistical analysis technique to examine the relationships between constructs in research. The results show that complexity, cost, relative advantage, compatibility, and observability are factors that influence the acceptance of paylater service technology. text |
