Summary: | Indonesia is a developing country, especially in the field of transportation development. Indonesia in this case was represented by the Ministry of Transportation to build a new mode of transportation in Jakarta, namely LRT (Light Rail Transit). PT Len Industri (Persero) is a State-Owned Enterprise that has the capacity and ability to do railroad signal work which has won work in one of fields, namely train signals on the project.
In starting this project, PT Len has appointed a Project Manager who will lead the project in Jakarta. This project is an infrastructure project in building a transportation mode. A project manager makes a project cost plan including making a project from start to finish. In planning financial allocations, one of them is planning the number of personnel that will be involved in this infrastructure project, along with the salary value of each personnel involved. After the project is running, the company recruit professionals to be involved in this project and takes a salary budget for professionals in this project budget, which is certainly not budgeted for in the initial planning. Because the salary budget for professionals is not allocated, it will have an impact on the net profit of the project when the project is completed. In the other hand, the salary value for professionals has not been determined by the human resources department and this needs to be standardized so that the salary value for professionals can be classified according to the experience and competencies of the professional.
An analysis of the needs of professional workers for companies and calculation of salary standards is needed to maintain the net profit from this infrastructure project. And this value can be standardized by the company so that there is no salary value for diverse professionals.
