PDAM Tirta Dharma is a public company that provides clean water for the residents of Rejang Lebong Regency. Based on data from BPPSPAM, the performance of PDAM Rejang Lebong Regency is classified as "less healthy" with a performance value of 2,26. One of the PDAM service coverage is Curup City. The number of PDAM customers in Curup City reaches 60% of the total PDAM Tirta Dharma customers. As the regency capital, Curup City is projected to have 30.900 inhabitants in 2035, bringing the total water demand in 2035 to 70,18 lps. The development of drinking water supply systems is carried out by planning a SPAM with capacity of 75 lps for the Curup City service coverage. The source of raw water used in the SPAM is Musi Kejalo River. Based on laboratory analysis, the parameters that do not meet the quality standards are microbiological parameters. Therefore, treatment is needed to reduce microbiological parameters in the water. The planned system configuration is free intake buildings, transmission line, treatment units consisting of slow sand filter, calcium hypochlorite disinfection, ground reservoir, and distribution system
