Summary:Poultry layer industry in Indonesia is facing many problems with many uncertainties. Poultry layer is an industry that produces commercial eggs from the farm. Putra Farm is one of the layer farms that is trying to survive in this turbulence. Even surrounded with many problems, however this industry is producing one of the essential basic food determined by the government of Indonesia. The main issue is how for Putra Farm to grow in this competitive industry. This final project is trying to explore opportunities to grow for Putra Farm as a layer farm business up to at the time of this final project is written. The strategy to grow is formulated from four business function perspectives: Operation, Marketing, Human Resources, and Finance. Alternative solutions are proposed by formulating strategies from those areas. Several strategy initiatives are explored including strategic alliance, efficiency, vertical integration, differentiation, IPO, etc. After finding the strategy to grow, a balanced scorecard is used to elaborate the strategy to become strategic objectives and formulate them as a strategic map. It is hoped that the strategy in this final project could help Putra farm to grow competitively in the perfect market competition.
