Floods that occurred on April 26, 2019 became the background of the main problem, the elevation of the flood water level that has reached the waist of adults has worried Pasar Ahpoong condition as a recreation area. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the problem of flooding that occurred in the Ahpoong River and water utilization effort that flowing in the Ahpoong River as a recreation area/ ecopark. With the aim of getting proposals and technical recommendations in an effort to utilize tourist areas and flood control in structural section to reduce the impact of the Ahpoong River flood losses. Analysis of hydraulic modeling is performed using HEC-RAS 5.0.7 software with boundary condition requirements is a hydrograph data results of HSS ITB-2.b for return period 2 until 50 years. Modeling is done with three different conditions, namely natural conditions (existing) which indicate the original field condition. Alternative condition 1 (simulation of a flood channel/ floodway) to divert flood discharge, alternative condition 2 (simulation of normalization with 2 meters dredging in 2 points of Pasar Ahpoong Area) for water retention as an ecopark facility and alternative condition 3 (additional simulation with embankments/ levees on upstream until middle region of Ahpoong River) as flood anticipatory steps on the upstream area. Based on the simulation results, all alternative condition scenarios have shown significant results, namely a decrease the flood level elevation as high as ± 1.40 meters with percentage of diversion of discharge to the flood channel/ floodway of 65.21% and of 34.08% to the natural river with alternative solutions consideration from technical factors, construction implementation, operation and maintenance, social and financial. text |
