With the high competition level, PT X needs to increase its competitiveness to become the number one e-commerce company in Indonesia. Competitiveness relates to the organization, market share, and corporate profits, which are included at the stage of organizational growth. Also, to improve competitiveness, the company needs to innovate. The emerge of innovation depends on the knowledge found in the company. For this reason, this study aims to design knowledge management strategies that are according to the stage of growth. This research uses a historical case study method to identify the stage of organizational growth from its beginning to the present. The process starts with identifying the stages of organizational growth. The next step is to identify the needs of the appropriate business processes. Then, the business process characteristics are identified, namely based on the nature of the interaction and the nature of the task. Then proceed with the identification of knowledge needs needed for each business process. The knowledge is then identified based on the source of knowledge, namely the company's internal sources or external sources of the company. The last step is to identify the knowledge management strategy based on business processes. Data collection is carried out by conducting in-depth interviews. The result shows that in formulating a knowledge management strategy, the company needs to know the current stage of organizational growth. This is necessary because each stage of growth requires a different knowledge management strategy. The next stage is to know the needs of business processes in PT X. The third stage is to identify the needs of knowledge and sources of knowledge. The fourth stage is determining the knowledge management strategy. At present, PT X shows that the company is currently in the formalization stage, which characterized by the application of a matrix organizational structure in companies and products with diverse variations. The knowledge management strategy suggests that PT X should focus on training individuals related to business processes. text
