Summary:Labuan Bajo City is one of the new popular tourist destinations in the last five years. This significantly increased popularity caused an increasing number of visitors and tourists both from within and outside Indonesia. An increase in demand must be accompanied by an increase in supply as well. In this case, provision of access and transportation facilities to get to Labuan Bajo must be sufficient for the visitors and city needs so that tourism activities in Labuan Bajo can proceed comfortably and safely. The main function of the Komodo Airport Passenger Terminal Redesign project is to accommodate the increasing number of visitors both domestic and foreign by increasing the capacity of passenger terminal and upgrade the class of the airport to an international airport. The location of this project is in the Batu Cermin area, Labuan Bajo, East Nusa Tenggara. The client of this project is the Ministry of Transportation. This project responds to location of the airport which is in a tourism destination area and to the environment context around the site. The passenger terminal is designed by applying a resort airport concept so that the building consists of seven main masses connected by corridors without disturbing the flow and system that runs inside an airport
