Summary:Lending is still a major contributor in the banking industry with higher contribution on interest from loan disbursed to the customer. Micro Banking or commonly known as microlending and microfinance is one of the segments in the lending business that currently become one of the focus of a bank in growing their business. Since then a good business strategy must be taken into serious concern for the bank in doing business in this segment. Micro Banking Area Jakarta 122 is one of the unit businesses in Bank Ocean that focuses on lending business to micro enterprise customer with average turnover is Rp300 million in Area Jakarta 122. The loan portfolio of Micro Banking is varies to booking target, achievement, gap, non-performing loan and etc. It makes Micro Banking Area Jakarta 122 is becoming a crucial in creating business strategy based on current loan portfolios. To improve the portfolios, this research conduct analysis through internal and external using the quantitative and qualitative approach. Quantitative analysis is conducted use data of loan portfolios from September 2018 – August 2019 and qualitative analysis is conducted through interview with observe the real situation of business. External Analysis is conducted to assess the external factor using PESTEL analysis, which are politic, economy, social, technology, environment and legal factors that affect the situation of micro banking. The result of the research is finding of strategy for business growth in micro banking business Bank Ocean Area Jakarta 122.
