Larvae Black Soldier Fly (Hermatia illucens) can be a feed supplement in poultry. This study aims to (1) determine the differences in BSF and commercial chicken feed on the complete proximate content (water, ash, protein, fiber, fat, carbohydrate, energy) (2) determine the effect of rations with different percentages between BSF larvae and commercial chicken feed of Arab local chicken (Gallus domesticus) growth with parameters Daily Feed Intake (DFI), Daily Weight Gain (DWG), Feed Conversion Ratio (FCR), Approximate Digestibility (AD), Efficiency of Conversion Ingested Food (ECI). This study was conducted in April until September 2019 located in Jati Endah Village Rt 03/ Rw 10 subdistrict Cilengkrang, Bandung, it was cultivated for 29 days. This study used a Isaac and Michael Independent t-test with 2 treatment and 10 sample. Ration percentage of chicken feed are PK: 100% commercial chicken feed and PB: 40% BSF larvae + 60% commercial chicken feed. The proximate content of BSF and commercial chicken feed was analyzed descriptively and growth performance was analyzed by t-test statistic (T test, ? = 0.05). The result in this study showed that (1) Proximate content of BSF larvae has a percentage above the chicken feed requirement, those content are water content, protein, fat, and energy. (2)PK and PB on the growth of Arab local chicken agains towards DFI, DWG, FCR, AD, and ECI have no significant. text |
