Description
Summary:This study combined EOR screening results, predictive models, and economic evaluation of fiscal regimes to select the best scenario in terms of technical and economic aspects with less time-consuming. EOR screening criteria were developed from reservoir data of successful EOR projects worldwide. From the screening results, predictive models were run with several assumptions to simplify the process and thus giving a glimpse estimation of reservoir production-injection performance. The estimation results were then evaluated based on two petroleum fiscal regimes that applies in Indonesia. Eventually, the best scenario of EOR implementation that includes technical and economical aspects was established. Furthermore, as a broader objective, this study offers early go/no-go decision regarding EOR implementation in a relatively short time.
