MOBILE APPLICATION DEVELOPMENT USING DYNAMIC FILTERING IN INDEPENDENT BLOOD DONOR SEARCH SYSTEM
Blood donation is the only way to meet the need for blood, whether it's for research on blood products, or to be given to patients in need. However, this fulfillment is very dependent on the contribution of volunteers who provide blood through the Red Cross of each country. In Indonesia, there...

However, this fulfillment is very dependent on the contribution of volunteers who provide blood through the Red Cross of each country. In Indonesia, there is still a shortage of blood needs by 18.8% of what should be, namely 2% of the total population of Indonesia. As a result, many cases of blood shortages occur in various regions. When there is a shortage of blood needs, requester searches independently in various ways, usually looking for potential donors to the family and disseminating requests to social media, with the hope that readers can continue to disseminate or fulfill these requests. To answer this problem, this research focuses on developing an independent blood donor search system that utilizes an algorithm that implements data mining to predict donors who will make untargeted donations in a particular month. This independent blood donor search system solution helps requester by being able to directly ask donors to meet their blood needs. This solution is submitted in the form of applications that can receive requests, classify donors, provide direct request notifications, and display donors that can meet blood needs. The test results show that the proposed solution provides more convenience in the search for donors compared to the comparison system as well as an increase in regular voluntary donors (RVD) so that it is possible to resolve the problem of blood deficiency. text |
