Description
Summary:Indonesia, as a country located in a disaster-prone area, required to always strive to reduce the damage resulted by disasters. One effort that can be done is with developing software to assist logistic especially in aid distribution. Through literature study and interview, can be known that the main problem of the logistical process is that, there is a need for delivering supply as fast, precise and even as possible for disaster victims. The software development process is done with waterfall method, step by step from determining requirements, software designing and implementation, until finally testing and implementation checking. Determining requirements utilize Design Science framework by analyzing the previous study of literature based on the existing problems and regulations. Identified requirements including roles distribution and access rights, logistic management and monitoring, categorization of supply and unit conversion, best estimation of delivery, transportation and distribution points, warehouse request for shortage of supply, and reporting. The design process done by making architectural, Use Case, conceptual, and interface diagram. The resulting application function as expected utilizing previously made scenario testing and has implemented most of the requirements. Requirements yet to be implemented are estimation for amount of supply to be sent, transportation route, and best distribution point due to the need to further learning and exploring of the said requirement which are outside the scope of the final project problems.
