Summary: | This study examines local government program that plans residential areas in Balaroa urban village affected by earthquake and liquefaction of ± 40 Ha which will be converted into open green space, memorial park, and history education area. This change can bring many tourists either domestic or foreign tourist, therefore when designing this area local government need to consider disaster mitigation in its design. The purpose of the design is to provide plan and design landscape for Balaroa Urban Village, West Palu Sub-District, Palu City, Province Central Sulawesi with earthquake and liquefaction mitigation as its base. The data collected by doing survey to institution involved and interviewing the victims of liquefaction disaster in Balaroa Village. The result of this study is to divide the area of Balaroa into four zone which are Zone A for Faults zone, Zone B for Memorial Park, Zone C for production area and Zone D for facility area and disaster mitigation area. Hopefully this design can help to mitigate disaster of earthquake and liquefaction in the area. |
