Summary:<b>Abstract:<p align="justify"> <br /> <br /> Based on reflective properties, a thin bed may be conveniently define as one whose thickness is less than about AJ4, where X is the wavelength computes using the velocity of the bed The problem of tuning, is examined in terms of how accurately the thickness of a thin bed can be calculated.<p align="justify"> <br /> In this article, the investigation result that two necessary steps in data processing for high resolution are wavelet shaping and migration. And the use data from models allows detailed analyses the error thickness ,. calculations which are not possible with the real field data. Error in thickness estimation caused by : Miislocation of the edge of the wedge-, velocity error and assumption of a linear amplitude change.<p align="justify">
