Summary: | The increase in the number of airplane passengers in the airport system has an effect on traffic and accessibility in the airport area. Thus PT. Angkasa Pura II (Persero) as the manager of Soekarno-Hatta International Airport (BISH) seeks to develop facilities in a comprehensive manner in the airport area in accordance with the existing needs to improve the comfort, safety and security of airport users. To obtain reliable mass transit performance in overcoming this increased movement, operational policies are needed to regulate the mass transit system within the airport. This study intends to analyze the effect of the operation of an automated people mover system (APMS) and Integrated Building on the airport's internal mass transit system using PTV Visum software. The results show better total passenger.km and passenger.hour, with a load factor of APMS that meets comfort standards. This study also emphasizes that airports with distant terminal locations require separate mass transportation with road traffic (Right of Way A or B) such as APMS, because mass transportation is still incorporated with road traffic (mixed traffic, Right of Way C) will be affected by road traffic conditions around the airport.
