Summary: | The Pluit City Forest Water Treatment Plant (IPA) is a joint development project for a new IPA between PT Jakarta Utilities Propertindo and PT PAM Jaya. The new IPA will serve 3 districts in North and West Jakarta, namely Penjaringan, Cengkareng, and Kalideres Districts. The processing capacity of the Pluit City Forest Natural Sciences has a capacity of 500 liters per second. The planning area of the Pluit City Forest Water Treatment Plant is located in Penjaringan District with a total area of 3160 m2. The choice of the IPA location has been determined by PT Jakarta Utilities Propertindo with consideration that the chosen location is the closest available location to the West Flood Canal River.
The source of raw water used in this plan is the West Flood Canal, with a discharge analysis that can be taken from the West Flood Canal River that is equal to 2 m3 / second to meet the needs of the Natural Sciences of 0.5 m3 / second. The determination of water treatment units uses the Simple Additive Weighted (SAW) method which is based on 5 aspects, namely the suitability of the processing objectives, economy, ease of operation and maintenance, land requirements, and environmental health. The selected processing units are a dual media quick sand filter, a chlorine free disinfection unit with chlorine gas, a granular activated carbon adsorption unit, and a ground reservoir reservoir unit.
The filtration unit is planned to use a dual media fast sand filter technology of 6 tanks, 7.5 m long, 4 m wide, and 4 m high. The disinfection unit is planned to use a disinfectant in the form of chlorine gas with a concentration of 2.5 mg / L, a tank length of 2 m, and a tank diameter of 76.2 cm. The planned Reservoir Unit is an underground reservoir with a reservoir number of 1 tub, 900 m3 capacity, 10 m width, 22 m length and 4 m depth. Granular activated carbon unit 4 tanks, 3.7 m in diameter and 5.55 m in height. From the calculation results, the CAPEX value of the IPA to be built is Rp. 29,686,940,000.00. Annual operational costs are Rp. 6,210,104,592.00.
