Students as the main users in this study lacked the knowledge to solve their stressor, the data showed that most students had the habit of sleeping in order to reduce perceived stress. Meanwhile most students faced academic stressor such as daily and final assignments that must be finished, and the stressor will reappear while the process of finishing the assignments itself. Therefore students need to learn a way to control stress (stress coping) which is relaxation technique. A media is needed to practice the ability of relaxation technique to make it easier to learn. The purpose of this design is to practice the ability of the ability of respiratory relaxation through a virtual reality by refering to the increasing of relaxation scores. The measurement in this design uses Visual Analog Scale (VAS) and questionnaires, while the used method is design thinking. The solution of this problem is to train students' stress coping skills to be more prepared in facing daily stressor. Respiratory relaxation technique is one of the stress coping ability that can be trained using virtual reality as a tool to improve the efficacy of the relaxation process by having the sense of presence element in it. Tests are given to two groups in which giving the result that virtual reality can provide a relaxing effect using visual such as the natural environment.. text |
