Description
Summary:Flooding is a disaster that are almost certain to occur in Bandung, such as Adipura Residence, Gedebage. It is estimated that the land subsidence is the cause of flooding in the area. To ensure this research is needed to see the subsurface geological structures of the Gedebage area as a cause of the land subsidence. The research area has an area of 139.22 Ha and this research is supported by the presence of two borehole data around the study area, each of which is 60 meters deep as supporting data. In this research, we will discuss the causes of land subsidence in the Gedebage area, Bandung, West Java by observing the subsurface geology. In this study, subsurface modeling will be modeled using the type resistivity method. The configuration used is the Dipole-dipole configuration for two-dimensional modeling and Schlumberger for onedimensional modeling to deeper penetration. In doing the modeling used Res2DInv software was applied for two-dimensional modeling and IPI2win was used to one dimension modelling. The results show that the research area is composed of 3 main materials, namely clay, mud clay and black sand. The existence of mud clay material is interpreted as a major factor in soil subsidence in the study area.
