Summary: | Home is a place where the process of socialization of an individual takes place against the norms and customs that apply in society, besides home becomes a place where someone feels every memory and experience. Home is a place that is vital for the survival of a person, where many things happen in Home, from self-introduction to a place to stop for a moment from busyness and problems. This assumption is considered relevant to illustrate how important home is for residents and especially children in the village of Cipagalo, Buahbatu.
The author realizes that art has the ability to represent, interpret and express experiences, as well as art as a medium to release emotions. Where it is needed to overcome public unrest about threats related to residences that will be lost. Participatory art can be said to be a bridge between artists and the public by being involved in the process of making works that are based on problems that arise around them. Participatory in history has been driven by resistance to dominant ideologies that have alienated societies, such as consumer capitalism, totalitarian socialism and military dictatorship (Bishop, 2012). ¬ The fertility of art practices that are full of social interaction, as if wanting to return art to its social function, namely how art is present in the community and make an impact. |
