But, it can not be fulfilled given that we have limited lands available to use. In order to solve this problem, the government planned to build Simple Rent House (Rusunawa) Cingised II located in Arcamanik, Bandung City. Rusunawa Cisinged II is a 12 (twelve) stories building with 2 (two) basement, and 1 (one) rooftop. This final project is objected to design foundation system and retaining wall of the building. This building is using bored pile foundation to adapt with the given soil condition. The design of foundation is objected to obtain size and material’s configuration that fit to bear structural loads so that the foundation is able to fulfill the deflection and settlement’s requirement. Results of this design process are 6 (six) variation of pile group with 0,6 metres and 0,8 metres bore pile’s diameter. Those are P1, P2, P3, P4, P5, and P6. The analysis of the foundation is done by utilizing Lpile, Group 8, and PCAcol. Retaining wall will be used as basement construction of the building. The retaining wall’s type that used is diaphragm wall. As the result, the building requires 11 (eleven) metre high and 0,6 metre width of retaining wall using 35 MPa of concrete to bear 7 (seven) metre depth of basement. Written on the designing guidelines that whe diaphragm wall has 1,65 of safety factor’s value and 11,57 mm of deflection required. The analysis of retaining wall is done by utilizing PLAXIS 2D. text
